My name is Sally Siko. I'm a wedding photographer based in North Carolina. A lifelong artist, I started oil painting when I was 8 years old, attended the Rhode Island School of Design, have worked as a tattooist and am an internationally published fine art nature photographer. I absolutely love working with people and am far more comfortable working in a crowd than alone in a studio which might be why l enjoy being a wedding photographer so much!
I grew up in Northern Virginia (Reston) and spent most of my youth hiking and camping in the Shenandoah National Park. My family made North Carolina our home 10 years ago and spend our free time traveling across the country in our RV. Always ready for a new adventure, I enjoy hiking and exploring new paths throughout the parks and cities across the United States.
With over 10 years of wedding photography experience, I’ve had the privilege of documenting some of the most incredible life-defining moments available along the path of human experience. I understand just how quickly the passage time can fade the best of recollections of even the most vibrant of emotions. From the moment you say "Yes", to the moment you say "I do", I believe that my job is to bring it all back to you, in depth, of hue and in proper context using my creative talents.
