Hi! My name is Shannon and I am the owner and lead photographer at One Eleven Wedding Photography in Raleigh, North Carolina. I am originally from Massachusetts and moved to North Carolina mid-2013. I am the mother of two girls, the step-mom of two boys and I am married to the man of my dreams. I also have two awesome dogs that I am a bit overly obsessed with (which you can tell from the 10,000 pictures of them on my phone). Since moving to the Raleigh area I have had the opportunity to meet and work with some amazing people including couples, families, and fellow photographers alike.
I love the hustle and bustle of a wedding day; the excitement, the emotion. I love working with people and hearing their stories; stories of how they met, how their relationship developed, and what is most important to them. I love seeing the loving expression on the face of a new husband as he sees his bride for the first time. I love presenting images that will last a lifetime to a newlywed couple. As the saying goes, if you do something you love, you’ll never work a day in your life. I quit “work” the day I became a full time wedding photographer.
Why Choose Us?
I pride myself on being the type of person who works closely with each client from the planning stage, through the joyous occasion of the wedding day, to long after you’ve celebrated your newlywed status. My goal is to capture the true moments in the lives of my clients, those moments that you might have not even noticed were happening – the interactions with loved ones, the tears, the smiles, and the laughter. My photos reflect the genuine intimacy that you feel during the day, and that you want to remember forever.
Your wedding photographer is the vendor that you will spend more time with than anyone else during your day. It is important that you are compatible and comfortable with that person. In a recent review on Wedding Wire, one of my past clients went so far as to say that I have become a permanent part of their family. Another has said they felt like they were working more with a friend than a vendor. My goal is for my future clients to feel the same before, during, and after the big day.
So, Why The Name One Eleven Wedding Photography?
It may sound corny, but my husband and I married on January 1, 2011 at 11:11 am…or 1/1/11 at 11:11. I thought that One One Eleven Eleven Eleven Wedding Photography didn’t quite have the same ring so I shortened it to One Eleven Wedding Photography.
2016 wedding collections start at $2445
