Amy Claeys is the principal photographer of Amy Claeys Photography. She believes that not only should a photo convey to the world a visual representation of who a person shows to the world, but also a little piece of that person’s soul.
Amy has completed several courses in digital format photography, focusing on classic photography.
Amy founded and is the current Chief Organizer of Royal Oak Photography, a photo club with over 700 members. The group meets about twice a month and does everything from community photo walks and “Detroit in ruins” walks to all day model shoots and workshops on topics such as Mechanics of Photograhy, lens workshops and strobist photography workshops.
She works primarily in digital format, using her Nikon D7000, but can shoot, develop and print images entirely in film upon request.
